18 MilesPerHour is about riding through the world instead of just passing it by.
18MILESPERHOUR FANTASY VEHICLE. THE BUS. On those Friday evenings that we start the grill, open a bottle of wine or two and start the loose chatter, we often fantasize about getting an official 18milesperhour vehicle. Sometimes it’s an over-the-top, money-no-object, off-road Sportsmobile. Sometimes its an Airstream. Sometimes it’s a tent trailer. Then there are buses like this thing parked in our neighborhood. Just looking at it makes us fantasize. Makes us take stock. Makes us want to change things up. Sell a bunch of stuff, get this thing, put a bike rack off the back and start checking trips off the fantasy list. Takes a powerful vehicle to transport us to so many places without even moving.
